What is OCIA about?
The Roman Catholic Church offers a beginning process of formation known formally as the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA). It's an opportunity for interested individuals to come and see what the Catholic faith is all about. Individuals will take part in instructional classes and experiences that will serve as a stable springboard into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. This is meant for anyone who has not yet been baptized, who has been baptized in a non-Catholic Christian tradition, who are already baptized as a Catholic but have not received all the other sacraments of initiation (Eucharist and Confirmation), or who simply wants to learn more about their Catholic faith through guided study.
If you would like to learn more about the OCIA process here at St. Michael, whether for yourself or for someone you know, please fill out the form below or feel free to give us a call at the parish office.
