For the safety of all, it is a general requirement from the Archdiocese of Detroit, as well as the parish of St. Michael the Archangel, that anyone wishing to volunteer must be willing to take part in a Criminal Background Check that would be processed and stay on file at St. Michael.

Protecting God's Children
The Archdiocese of Detroit requires the Protecting God's Children (PGC) workshop for ALL parents, guardians, volunteers, and employees. To chaperone a school event, coach a team, or even help coach a sporting event, attendance is mandatory.
