Before You Volunteer...
For the safety of all, it is a requirement from the Archdiocese of Detroit, as well as the parish of St. Michael the Archangel, that anyone wishing to volunteer must be willing to take part in a Criminal Background Check (CBC) that would be processed and stay on file at St. Michael. Thank you very much for your cooperation in keeping our environment safe for all our parishioners. We look forward to working with you. When you visit Virtus.org from the link below, you will be asked to give permission for the CBC to be performed, as well as agree to the volunteer Code of Conduct.
Protecting God's Children
The Archdiocese of Detroit requires the Protecting God's Children (PGC) workshop for ALL parents, guardians, volunteers, and employees. To chaperone a school event, coach a team, or even help coach a sporting event, attendance is mandatory.
