Archbishop Vigneron had invited all the parishes in the Archdiocese to pray for a New Pentecost back in 2014. He had recognized that if we kept going as we have been, would we be living as a band of joyful missionary disciples? So, we joined him in prayer. With events such as "Come, Encounter Christ!", the Amazing Parish Conference, Dialogue Gatherings, the Mass for Pardon, the Synod in 2016, and the Pastoral Letter Unleash the Gospel, we believe that good things have happened and will continue to come.

This summer, we find ourselves in the midst of the next phase of Unleash the Gospel: Sent on Mission. During the process to develop the Missionary Strategic Plan, we would like to hear from our parishioners who care deeply about our Catholic faith and want to see our parish thrive as salt and light for the community! We believe that if we earnestly pray to the Holy Spirit, He will respond to our request!

This means we're called to prayer first and foremost. We have to be docile to the Holy Spirit (and preferably in a state of grace!) if we want to ensure that what we hear will not be tainted by agendas and other pre-conceived notions. While preserving the beauty and truth of our Catholic faith, we strive to be "Fearless Disciples, Formed by the Word, Filled with the Heart of Jesus."
