What is The Wild Goose?
It's a series of videos that focus on the Third Person of the Trinity: the Holy Spirit. It's an opportunity to draw deeper in our relationship with God.
"The Wild Goose is a work of the Holy Spirit, which is awakening in the hearts of all those participating God’s love and transforming power. This is a love that has been revealed to us by Jesus Christ and that leads us to our heavenly Father. As you walk through this series I will continually be praying that you will encounter the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit will breathe life into your very being." - Fr. Dave Pivonka
The Wild Goose Series comprises of fourteen independent segments dealing with different experiences of the Holy Spirit.
At St. Michael, we will be viewing the first seven sessions together, leading up to the Solemnity of Pentecost.

Who is this series for?
Do you know the love of God? This series is for anyone who wants to grow in a relationship with the Holy Spirit, anyone who wants to develop an understanding on how the Holy Spirit operates in the life of the Church, and how this Third Person of the Trinity is truly our Advocate, the One who encourages us to be holy, to live virtuous lives, to live boldly in our Catholic Christian heritage! This is an opportunity to grow in a dynamic way in how we relate to the Holy Spirit. The apostles and disciples of Jesus who witnessed and lived in the miraculous - this is also an invitation for us to do the same. "If the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also, through his Spirit that dwells in you. Consequently, brothers, we are not debtors to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die, but if by the spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live." - Romans 8:11-13 |

What if I will be unable to make one of the evenings?
While it's important for us to be together and have a discussion about the things we've heard, we understand that other things will always be vying for our time. If you cannot make one of the evenings, simply head on over to Formed.org and if you are a parishioner of St. Michael, you would have already been given that parish code to access the videos and study guides.
